Suzy Boehmer, a teacher at Woodstock Elementary School, has been named to the Cherokee County School District's newly formed Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council, the district announced.

The advisory council was created to give educators across the district a formal opportunity to share valued feedback directly with district leadership.

The district highlighted Boehmer in a post introducing her as a council member, describing her as an educator whose talent is unparalleled and whose dedication to go the extra mile is unmatched.

The Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council is a new initiative aimed at strengthening communication between classroom teachers and district administration.
